When I was a little girl I would drive past Linda’s shop and say to my Nan when I grow up I want my wedding dress to come from that shop. So when I got engaged I knew where I wanted to go but the shop had moved and I didn’t know where it moved to. I booked an appointment to see Linda and found to my surprise and delight I was in that very shop all a long. Linda and her team provide fantastic customer service and treat you like your their only bride. They will always go that extra mile and are always willing to help – nothing is too much trouble. I visited some other bridal shops in the area but after visiting Chic and Elegant nothing came close. I want to thank everyone there for everything. Linda you are amazing and to all brides out there I recommend you take a visit to Chic and Elegant – I promise you won’t be disappointed.

I had been to several shops looking for my dress before here but after them i always felt really deflated and thought id never find a dress i liked. All the other shops just listened to what i told them and i tried on the dresses similar to my description. When i went to chic and elegant i told her what i wanted……(i was abit of a bridezilla) i didn’t like this, i didn’t want that, linda must have thought i was a right madam! when i told her what i wanted she advised me to try a different style as she didn’t think that style would suit me but i thought i knew best! when i tried what i thought was my dream dress on they looked awful on me. linda suggested a style that she thought would suit me because i was so petite and i must say she knows her stuff. The dress i have bought is the complete opposite of what i wanted and everything i didn’t want in my dress but it looks amazing and i absolutely love it. As soon as i put it on i knew it was the 1. Im so glad i listened to her advice and tried the dresses she suggested on. Shes very honest and made me feel a million dollars. The dress i have bought is actually a lot cheaper than the original dress that i thought i wanted, so that just goes to show its not about the money to her its about making sure i looked amazing. I would definitely recommend her to anyone. ive actually gone back and bought my bridesmaids dresses with her and shes helped me with lots of other things like photographer, mens suits, decorations and a cake. She really was a pleasure to do business with and i cant wait for my wedding day now.

I chose this shop purely on the comments, I have to say that they are all true! You really do get a personal service and I don’t mind that what I wanted didn’t suit me. That honesty helped me chose a beautiful dress that I felt amazing in. I’m so glad I came to a shop where it’s not about making money but about giving someone a dress they not only like but look good in. I am taking my bridesmaids as soon as I get an appointment. I would recommend this store to anyone.

I visited bridal shops in London, Cardiff & Mumbles before I visited Chic & Elegant but I wish I’d gone straight to Linda. I recommend Linda to everyone as you won’t find a friendlier welcome or better advice anywhere else. Linda was so lovely I really miss visiting her at the shop now that the wedding excitement is over!
