Wow! What a truly amazing woman Linda is.
I got married in September this year (2011) and visited Chic and Elegant about 8wks before the wedding, when my original dress became too small for me. After a very emotional phone call with Linda, we arranged an appointment for the Monday.
All I can say is I wish Chic and Elegant had been my first original stop, Linda brought out 5 dresses in my budget, though she did have a certain one in mind from my description of my original dress. My word Linda was spot on, if I had looked at a picture i would of passed it by I think, but I kept an open mind as Linda advised. The dress I chose was Linda’s choice, she knows what suits a woman and she is honest with it.
I could babble on forever about my experience here, but the important thing for any future bride to note is, Linda has years of experience,she is honest and reliable and never at any time pressurising.
I will remember my visit to Linda forever, when I thought all was going wrong, she made it right.
As my son said ” Mum you Look like a Princess”, and I felt like one too, then and on my wedding day.
THANK YOU LINDA, you are a truly amazing woman.

I would like to tell everyone what a fabulous service i had with Linda. We met at a wedding fayre in the Marriott & I made an appointment to go & see her, when i first went to her shop I received a very warm welcome, Linda asked my mum, my daughter & myself to pick out some dresses but asked if she could pick one out for me also, I had a very honest opinion from Linda if she didn’t like the dress I had on (which was not my experience in other bridal shops) I tryed every dress on & it was the one that Linda had picked out that made me feel so comfortable & when I walked out infront of my mum & daughter they started crying, it just felt right. I made my decision there and then and purchased the dress.

While i was there I asked to see the bridesmaids dresses aswell, seen as i had my daughter with me, we went downstairs and Linda had some beautiful designs & I picked the colours, which is not what I have seen in other shops & was very impressed with the service. I purchased my veil and tiara also from her and when I hadto pop in for fittings and the bridesmaids Linda was always accomadating, Linda loaned me the underskirt with no charge, which i know of other bride’s who have hadto buy their own.

I was sent a letter out near to the big day offering a service to come & dress you on the day for a charge of £150 and i didn’t take up this offer as i thought we would be fine as my mum was with me on alot of visits so i assumed everything was taken care of. Not so, all the bridesmaids were fussing & I ended up dressing them & my dress was rushed as the cars had turned up and my mum wasn’t ready but wouldn’t let us get dressed till last minute, I found my dress kept on slipping & didn’t feel right, so i strongly advise that you take up this offer and then you won’t havto worry about a thing.

I am having my blessing next year and will be asking Linda to do my dress up for me. She is a wonderful person who you can see loves her job and makes you feel at ease and i strongly recommend her to anyone, Chic & Elegant is worth a visit

I would highly recommend buying a wedding dress from Chic and Elegant. We received an outstanding, professional, personal and caring service from Linda each and every time we visited. She put me completely at my ease and made choosing my wedding dress a very special time for me. Whatever we asked, nothing was ever too much trouble. Chic and Elegant have some fabulous dresses, especially if you are getting married abroad, require petite sizes and there is a wide range of accessories too. Chic and Elegant was recommended to us and I would definitely recommend them too. Thank you, Linda.

Having had a mixed experience in other bridal shops, when I set out to find my perfect dress I was excited and nervous in equal measures. Thankfully Linda’s friendliness and professionalism from the start that put me at ease. Linda ensured that the whole experience was special and I’m so grateful for her advice and guidance on choosing my perfect gown. Throughout the whole process the service was impeccable. Id recommend the ‘Final Touch Service’ to any bride, having Linda there to dress me on the actual day meant that I felt as special as I did in the shop an didn’t have the worry of not being able to recreate her magic on the day! A big thank you from the bridesmaids to, although I had a large bridal party to organise Linda and her staff were so accommodating, the bridesmaids looked and felt fantastic – we cant thank you enough!

If you want to feel like a princess look no further this is the place to go. I had my dress and 4 bridesmaids dresses in May for my wedding, the service they provide is unbelievable, i just want to say Thankyou to Linda and her sister for making everything perfect.

Linda, I bought my dress from you for my friends wedding. You were so friendly, helpful and honest and made me feel very comfortable. My dress was amazing and everyone commented on how fantastic it was. I loved it.

Thank you for your help i will definitely be back for my sister in laws wedding next year.
