Well where shall I start! I got married on August 28th 2011. On visiting Linda for the first time back in June 2010 she greeted us with an extremely warm welcome and made me and my family feel comfortable from the word go! Not only is Linda patient but she know exactly what she is doing… I tried various dresses on but there was one that stood out for linda which she really wanted me to try on so i went with Linda’s expereince tried on the dress and it was the one…..and i must say it was a beautiful gown!!! Along with a matching veil and headband! I was made to feel that i was the only bride in the world, of course i knew this wasnt the case but Linda made me feel so special. The fact that she only see’s on bride at a time really adds to this! I also payed for the service Linda offers where she delivered my dress the evening before the wedding and then returning to my home the morning of the wedding to help get me dressed which i have to say she kept me calm…..kept us all calm. Not only did she help me she also dressed the bridesmaids, my mother and helped with the mens ties, cuff links etc! Linda then stayed with us until the cars arrived made sure the door was locked and helped me into the car and sent me on my way! What Linda charges for this service i think is really a small price to pay considering all the help she provides you with! Unfortunately I only got to meet kay the once but did speak to her on the phone a few time and she seemed as lovely as Linda. I cannot thank you enough for the fantastic service you provided and everything you did for me on the build up to my wedding. I am going to miss going to see Linda at the shop. For those of you who havent payed chic and elegeant a visit please do so you wont be dissapionted they will make you look and feel absolutely beautiful!!!!

I urge any bride to be to visit Chic & Elegant and put your whole trust in Linda. I did and I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. Linda knew exacty what would suit me and with her help I found THE perfect dress.

Her patience is second to none and you really do feel special every time you visit the shop, with a locked door, and all her attention on you and you alone. The service really is outsatnding, whether it’s your first visit, one of several fittings or seeing to last minute alterations.

I tried on loads of different dresses in 7 different shops in Swansea and Cardiff and none came close to the service I received in Chic & Elegant. I’m gutted that it’s all over and my visits to Linda have come to an end. If you want to feel like the most important bride in the world then please visit Linda in Chic & Elegant, you won’t be dissappointed!

I would like to tell everyone what a fabulous service i had with Linda. We met at a wedding fayre in the Marriott & I made an appointment to go & see her, when i first went to her shop I received a very warm welcome, Linda asked my mum, my daughter & myself to pick out some dresses but asked if she could pick one out for me also, I had a very honest opinion from Linda if she didn’t like the dress I had on (which was not my experience in other bridal shops) I tryed every dress on & it was the one that Linda had picked out that made me feel so comfortable & when I walked out infront of my mum & daughter they started crying, it just felt right. I made my decision there and then and purchased the dress.

While i was there I asked to see the bridesmaids dresses aswell, seen as i had my daughter with me, we went downstairs and Linda had some beautiful designs & I picked the colours, which is not what I have seen in other shops & was very impressed with the service. I purchased my veil and tiara also from her and when I hadto pop in for fittings and the bridesmaids Linda was always accomadating, Linda loaned me the underskirt with no charge, which i know of other bride’s who have hadto buy their own.

I was sent a letter out near to the big day offering a service to come & dress you on the day for a charge of £150 and i didn’t take up this offer as i thought we would be fine as my mum was with me on alot of visits so i assumed everything was taken care of. Not so, all the bridesmaids were fussing & I ended up dressing them & my dress was rushed as the cars had turned up and my mum wasn’t ready but wouldn’t let us get dressed till last minute, I found my dress kept on slipping & didn’t feel right, so i strongly advise that you take up this offer and then you won’t havto worry about a thing.

I am having my blessing next year and will be asking Linda to do my dress up for me. She is a wonderful person who you can see loves her job and makes you feel at ease and i strongly recommend her to anyone, Chic & Elegant is worth a visit

The whole experience of choosing my dress and popping in for fittings was professional yet peronsal and stress free, this I believe is completely down to you both going out of your way for me in every way, whether it was opening the shop whenever I needed, answering questions so quickly on the phone and email, even steaming my bridesmaid dresses last minute. You made me feel like I was your only bride, such a special and personalised experience. I am truly grateful for all of your hard work and support.

Just wanted to write to say a huge THANK YOU to Linda and Gaynor from Chic and Elegant, our wedding was fantastic, the best day of our lives, Linda really went above and beyond to help us have a perfect day… not only by helping me choose the most perfect wedding dress, tiara and veil, fantastic bridesmaids dresses which complemented my dress and found shoes for the bridesmaids (everybody has commented on how fabulous all the dresses looked), you also helped by suggesting where to hire the grooms outfits, photographers, cars, table centres etc. This was such a help as it is so difficult to know who to trust. Gaynor was also fantastic and made all our wedding invitations, the most amazing post box and table plan which everybody loved and kept having their photos taken against all night. Linda and Gaynor even opened the shop early so that we could pick our dresses up and on one occasion when one of my bridesmaids was late picking up her dress Gaynor stayed late to wait, with no complaint. I would recommend that if you are going to get married you have to visit Chic and Elegant, the service really is outstanding and the staff are incredible. My day was perfect and people are still talking about it saying that it was the best wedding that they have ever been too…..

Wedding Date – Saturday 7th May 2011 Where do I start….Linda and co are absolutely fantastic and I would recommend them to any bride! We originally found the wonder that is Chic & Elegant for my sisters wedding in May 2008. They were so friendly, down to earth and welcoming! My sister bought her dress from them and my bridesmaid dress. Since then at least three brides I recommended Chic and Elegant to bought their dresses from there. So when I got engaged and began planning my wedding for May 2011, Chic and Elegant was my first stop! Linda and everyone were as amazing as ever! They remembered us clearly from my sisters wedding and it was like catching up with old friends! I knew from my sisters wedding to trust Linda’s judgement and to try on the dresses she suggested. I found that I was drawn to completely different dresses to what I originally thought I would have picked. Although they had faboulous stock and I liked a few dresses very much I did not love them. However when I found one online by a designer Linda stocks she did everything she could to get a sample in store within a week!!! The dress was amazing and was to be my wedding dress! I also bought my sisters bridesmaid dress from Linda. The altertions that were completed (length, taking in the bridesmaid dress and adding a halterneck to my strapless dress) were perfect and so reasonable in price! You could not tell the strap had been an extra on my dress, as the work completed on it was amazing! Furthermore, I took a few veils to try on with my dress as I wanted my veil to be my something borrowed. In addition to this I tried on some in the store. Linda was not pushy and actually recommended one of the veils I had taken to the store with me, not being pushy and trying for a sale. The whole team just want you to have a special day and everytime I visited the store they made me excited for my big day! I truely can not praise the whole team enough! Linda, I will be popping in soon with some pictures for you!

*Wedding date 21st April 2011* Well what an amazing experience I had at chic & elegant! As soon as we walked in through the door we were made to feel welcome and very special clients. Linda couldnt do enough to help and was extremely friendly. I wanted something different for my wedding day and Linda went out of her way to accomodate my wishes. Because of her I was able to have my one of a kind dream dress. I felt like a princess on my wedding day and everyone commented on how beautiful my wedding dress was. I also had my bridesmaid and flower girl dresses from Linda after the fantastic service we received when designing mine. She was really helpful in opening the shop to accomodate when they could make it for fittings which was a huge help and made the whole thing less stressful. They looked fab on the day! I would highly recommend any bride to be to visit Linda at chic and elegant when looking for their dream dress…you wont be disappointed!

Thank you so much Linda for everything that you did for us!! You were so patient when I was choosing my dress and all your advice was just spot-on. Thank you for helping my bridesmaids with their gowns even while one was in Australia and the other was pregnant – just amazing care from the beginning to the end. The flower-girls dresses were so cute and we were all so happy, that even the mother of the bride AND groom came to buy their outfits from you and they were not disappointed either. You had so much choice to try and a variety of colours. Your service is outstanding and your personal care is something not found in most other shops. Even to the little details of all the accessories you were so patient and helpful….making sure everything co-ordinated!! As I got married abroad, thankyou for packing all 8 of our dresses so safely into our travel boxes and also for your help when we came home in getting them cleaned.

There are not enough THANKYOU’s in the world that I could give you for helping to make our day so special.

Wedding Sun Aug 29th 2010 . . . . Just want to say a massive thank you to both Linda & Kay. Not only did they provide me with the most perfect dress, but the service was outstanding. My bridesmaid’s dress’ also my mums dress was fab couldnt have asked for more friendly helpful staff I am so grateful for everything they both did to make my wedding so perfect, I would recommend chic n elegant to any bride to be reading this. Linda will tell you the truth if she doesnt think something suits she wont just sell you something for the sake of making herself money she takes pride in making her brides look the best, and by god she does a excellent job at it. I went to a few wedding dress shops in swansea before here and none of them provided the help and support to the standard of these ladies. I really cant thank them enough Linda even came to dress myself and my bridesmaids on the morning of the wedding what more could a bride ask for nothing is to much trouble for chic n elegant staff.
